Boston is at a fun age for FHE where he is really starting to grasp the concepts we teach him. A few months ago I did the lesson on being a good boy and listening to Mommy and Daddy. It worked so well!! His tantrums have gotten better and he is quicker to do what we ask.
We started a Good Boy Chart at that FHE and every time that he listens and does what we ask, or can pull himself out of a tantrum quickly, or is just plain being precious he gets a sticker. (he gets a lot of stickers for that last one!) We try hard not to say, "If you... you get a good boy sticker." cuz we don't want this to turn into a bribery chart :)
When his chart is filled up he gets a treat or toy (his choice). We take the chart to the store and use it to pay for his treat/toy. I get some weird looks from the cashiers when my little guy hands them a paper with stickers on it for payment but he is so proud to be able to buy his toy with his good stickers.
So last night I had the lesson again. Five Guys burgers just opened in town so of course we had to go!! I love Five guys!!!

Getting the last of the french fries in the bottom of the bag
Then we headed to the park and talked about how Jesus made the grass, the sky, the birdies, the trees... you get the idea... for us because he loves us. It was a very quick lesson since the little guy couldn't wait to get playing

They had the BEST hill at this park!! We played on it for two hours. It was a great workout and I really regretted eating so many french fries!

Boston is a very fast runner and boy he did NOT hold back on the hill! He's super coordinated too and just as we thought he was doomed for a wipeout he would manage to work it out and not wipeout. It was hilariously impressive

He looks so grown up in so many of these pictures! It sounds like you guys are having very fun FHEs. Peekoo sure is a lucky little guy :)
We definitely want to come along. This sounds like something we would love to do. You guys are great parents!
Such a cute post! He is so DARLING. He would love my little boys. Really cute pics.
This is inspiring me to be better at FHE's with Macie. We've kind of slacked with her...usually just a song and short (like 20 second) lesson. :) But this looks like so much fun. I can tell you guys are such great parents.
