On the way home from the bbq Boston asked for his water and what I didn't realize until we got home was that he just wanted to sip it and spit it out like an elephant {he loves elephants!}. He was drenched! I caught him mid spit on this one..
Since we had to leave the bbq before they busted out the fireworks we bathed Boston then lit a few fireworks and sparklers before he went nigh nigh
Today {the 4th} we headed to Summerlin to Rob's brother's house for some more bbq. We took ribs and they smoked a brisket. Yummy! Sidenote: This morning we found out our smoker is broken.. we're so sad! What's a Texas boy to do without a smoker?
It was so much fun to be with family and have Boston play with his cousins. Boston pounded 3 ribs by himself! I forgot my camera so no pics from the bbq :( When we got home we quickly threw B into a bath then lit off the rest of our fireworks. He was so funny.. he just leaned back with his hands behind his head and watched.
Our neighbors down the street started to light up the fireworks that shoot up in the air and Boston kept throwing his hands up and saying "wooow! woooow! whooooa! woooow!"
And what would a holiday be without a self-took family pic? :) Can I just say that I love that Boston yells "cheeeese!" when we take his picture? Happy 4th everyone!!

So stinkin cute how Boston just kicked back with his arms behind his head to watch the fireworks! And just so you know, it is sooo not fair how in EVERY SINGLE picture you look like a total model! :) Glad you guys had a fun weekend!
