The Great Escape

The little monkey finally did it! Now added to our list of things that go bump in the night.. Boston launching himself out of his crib! We knew it would happen eventually, we just thought we had more time! We were in such disbelief that we had to have him show us how he did it and he was happy to oblige. It seems Boston has been blessed with the rare combination of ridiculous upper body strength, an unbreakable spirit and wicked awesome flexibility. That boy can whip his gummy little toes up past his shoulders onto the top bar while standing in his crib and use arms to pull himself up and out.

We looked all over town for one of those crib nets that are made to keep cats out to try to contain him but alas twas not meant to be(no longer sold due to safety issues). The pillowed landing pad will have to do.
It will be a sad day when we walk into Boston's bedroom and find that he has escaped from his crib, hot-wired his toy four-wheeler and is now being held down at the precinct for holding up the local build-a-bear.... you may laugh but this is our nightmare...
