The First Word!!!!!

Boston said his first real word today!!! He has been saying mama and dada for months now but I don't count those since he doesn't say them discriminately yet. Anyways, it's gorgeous outside today so i took him to the park. We sat on a blanket under a tree and he was playing with his football, one of his fave toys, and he was babbling stuff while playing with it. I took the ball from him and held it up and pointed to it as I said "ball". He looked at me, then at the ball and said "ball"!!!! His L sound wasn't super crisp but it was there!!! He said it one more time when I repeated what I did then it was off to the dirt to dig! Man he is all boy! ha ha

I swear everyday I love this guy even more than the day before even though each day I don't see any possible way I could! He is so much fun these days! He's come so far from the miserable baby he used to be. He's so happy and his constant smile and giggle melt my heart! He is such a flirt already, always smiling and giggling for all the ladies at the store! He is VERY active but I wouldn't have it any other way! Even though he is the farthest thing from a cuddler, he is a permanent sidekick at my feet everywhere I go. I love it! He loves his Mommy!

I found a saying that I love, "A child fills a space in your heart, you never knew was empty." Exactly! I don't know how I ever survived without this little guy!
