pinky the joker

yup, my kid pretty much looks like the joker from batman now. Today we went to the park and two minutes in, Boston fell {running full speed of course} into the corner of the step on the playground and hit his cheek. He was a tough little guy and only cried for a few minutes. Is it terrible that I enjoy how cuddly he gets when he's hurt? I mean, he will let me actually hold him and he will lay his head on my shoulder... oh i love it!!! Those of you who know Boston know that he is NOT a cuddler in the least bit!!! So as much as it hurts me to see him get hurt, I LOVE THE RESULTING CUDDLES!!!
Ok back to the park...It instantly started to bruise and he had a fat lip for a few hours. He looks so funny when he smiles- seriously just like the joker! I'll have to try to get a picture of him smiling tomorrow. And this pic doesn't show off the bruise too well. It's more of a purple-ish color and darker but the flash kept washing it out. Poor pinky :)
this is what i came across today..
Thanks Grandma for the pop-up tunnel! we love it :)

stud muffin

Boston is such a cutie and I love him to death! He's growing up so fast and turning into such a cool little kid. He is funny as can be and knows it! He will do something 100 times if it gets a laugh {that's his daddy for ya!} He even gets laughing so hard that he will cover his face with his hands and crack up with you.

He loves to back himself into any corner or small space that he can find. When you're sitting on the ground he will come up to you, turn around, shove his booty into you, and slide down so he is sitting on you. He especially loves to sit on Daddy's head while he is laying on the floor. His latest infatuation is gathering as many things as he can into a cup or bucket or bowl and carrying it around everywhere he goes. He has recently discovered that if he throws his head forward while walking he can run! ha ha he nows runs everywhere he goes!

There are only two rooms where he is NOT allowed..the bathroom{obvious reasons} and mommy and daddy's room {it's where we have to stash all of our chargers, breakables, anything we don't want him touching} I try my best to keep the doors closed but when they accidently are left open, Boston is such a good boy that he waits by the door until he is seen and told "Don't go in there" then bolts into the room squealing with laughter. It's a game to him how far he can make it into the room before I catch up with him. I won't lie, I love this game :)

Boston is a BIG help around the house! He will help carry laundry {usually just a shirt} to the laundry room for me. He helps with the dishes{pulling out all the silverware onto the floor ha ha} and anything I am trying to put away, he will gladly help pull it back out at the same time :) I guess the laundry is the only real help I get

I guess you could say that I adore this little guy. He's a stud!

First Day of School

Today is the first day of the LAST SEMESTER of Rob's school!! YAYYY!!! Of course I had to document... even if Rob didn't take it serious and just wanted to be a dorky school boy

Work it, work it!
And Mama kissing her boy before he goes off to school :) Ya, I kinda like him :)

Some fun pics from my phone WARNING! there's a ton!

Walmart had a coin vending machine with "mustache disguises" so of course I had to get Boston one... His disguise made him look like Hitler {hope this doesn't offend anyone} He obviously didn't like it tho ha ha I was hoping for the Zorro looking one

Boston loves his nativity set that my mom got him but we keep losing Baby Jesus!!! Boston keeps hiding him from me! Then yesterday he threw him down the sink drain in the bathroom. I gotta get him out today... and maybe have a chat with Boston about respecting Baby Jesus

My marathon training schedule posted on my fridge all official like! woot woot! Anyone wanna join me? :) Oh and Lindsey if you look at this can you click on the pic and take a peek at the schedule and tell me what you think of it? Since you're miss marathoner and know what you're doing I would love to hear your thoughts :)

Boston and Aunt Coco. She gave me that place mat for Christmas{one of the many presents we got from her.. she gave me so much this year!!!}. It suctions to the table so Boston can't rip it off! She googled "germaphobic moms" and found it! ha ha thanks coco!!

Boston's Santa hat. He wears it all day long and if it falls off he cries until I put it back on him :) how cute is that?

Rob will never just smile for a picture... I guess now we know where Boston gets it from :)

We wait for daddy to come home each day and then Boston helps him park the car in the garage. He's a great driver hee hee

Boston's first french fry a few weeks ago.. I've created a monster! He can't get enough!

Where did my baby go? I have a little adult walking around now! Especially in these next two pics!

These next few are from Black Friday. Boston was such a champ :)

This kid keeps us laughing all day long with his noises and faces..

Seriously? What 13 month old busts out this face? ha ha he looks like a little kid in this one!

I love this jacket! I was on the fence til I saw the ears... then I had to have it :)

6 racks of ribs and Guy's Monday Night Football? Rob was in HEAVEN!!! I'm not a rib fan but Rob smokes some mean ribs!

This guy works so hard for me :) I love him very much!! I think that's a bowl of ice cream..

Love my sissies! We had a girls night at the strip last time they came down. 9:30 came around and I was dead ha ha I'm old. Not sure what I'm doing in this picture...

Every night Rob and I sneak into Boston's room to check on him before we go to bed. i love watching my baby sleep :)

Boston's first time having ice cream. No more dairy allergy YAY! We had to do it right so we took him to Cold Stone :) He didn't know what to think of the coldness

I guess we're weaning early :)

Boston loves his binky! He has since day 1. In the beginning I was actually opposed to it, but after seeing how much comfort it brought him I couldn't say no. And honestly, i don't know how we would have survived his issues without it! That was the only thing that would comfort him sometimes.

We have about 10 binkys. Every night we throw them all in his crib cuz he thinks its fun to throw them out then ends up with none but this way he always has at least a few left :)

Since he was 9 months I got him down to just sleeping times, the car, and church and I was planning on weaning him of it completely around his first birthday but decided to hang on to it until after the holidays to make traveling easier. So the other night I did the weekly disinfecting of the binkys. I usually use a steamer bag but ran out so I had to boil them. Let's just say i forgot about them until the smoke alarm went off 25 minutes later ha ha

P.S. There were three survivors who didn't make it into the pot so we're still good until after the holidays :)
