In the car he gets super fussy if we don't have some music on.. his favorite is Disney. The kid loves music and LOVES to dance! Anytime he hears music he starts to jump up and down or wiggle back and forth or stomp his feet. He puts on a pretty good show! And if you laugh, he'll do it for hours! He will do anything for a laugh. My favorite thing is when he gets laughing so hard with you because he knows he's being funny that he becomes overcome with laughter and has to stop and bury his face in his hands and get out all of his giggles! It's so cute!

When I get home from running Boston loves to sit on my lap and listen to my Ipod. He does his happy wiggles as he listens

Big step!

A few weeks ago I went to Babies'R'Us and didn't use Boston's cart cover! Of course I used the sanitizing wipes and wiped that thing down like you wouldn't believe, but hey, no cart cover is big :) Since then, I have gone to Target and Costco and haven't used it either. I think it's going to take me a very LOOOOONG time to get to where I won't use it at Wal-mart though (gross!!). Oh and we go to the park alot these days and I don't make Boston wear his gloves anymore ha ha baby steps but I'm getting there
Little side note.. Boston blew his nose for the first time today! I held up the tissue and said blow and he did! What a big boy :)

Bounce U
Tonight we went to a place by our house that has a bunch of inflatable toys. Boston wasn't sure at first because it was loud and bouncy but after 5 minutes he was LOVING it! He especially loved the slides, even the big one! He went down all by himself and would laugh super hard at the bottom. When we set him down he would run back to the beginning and start trying to crawl back up all by himself. It was so much fun and the best part was that they didn't charge us anything! Can't beat that!

I know he looks terrified but he really loved it

They had this tower with a trampoline at the bottom. It consisted of 5 or 6 layers of straps woven together and you would climb up through it all to the top "floor". This probably doesn't make sense so I'll just stop.. I climbed to the very top of that thing and all I can say is it was hard! Boston had fun bouncing on the tramp & kept wanting us to lift him up to the second floor but the straps have so much give he would fall thru them back down to us on the tramp.

Mr. B on the big slide. We would send him down on his back but he thought it was fun to roll over half-way down

Rob and I had fun trying to dive thru the posts. Ya we enjoyed this place too!

I tried and failed miserably to make it over the top post
Look at the good form! ha ha

Whoo!

What was Boston doing during this? Just sitting taking a breather

A great slam-dunk by Mom!

The last little bit we spent in the basketball bouncer and Boston had a blast putting the basketball in the hoop. My arms were dead after all the up-and-downs... the kid is solid!

Anyways, we had a great time! Now I know why the girl's in my ward love it :) We are gonna try to go every Tuesday so come join us next week! :)

Rob's b-day!
Yesterday Rob turned 29 and for those of you that know me, you know that I loooove birthdays!! So I always try to make them extra special :) Since this year his birthday fell on a Sunday I took the opportunity to embarrass him a bit.
Rob's day started off with breakfast in bed, french toast with sliced strawberries and whipped cream, and some finger painted cards from Boston! Then it was off to his Sunday morning meetings.
After he left, me and my accomplice Boston busted out the helium tank and blew up approx 30 balloons. Then we took the very hazardous drive {i could barely see out the front window!} over to the chapel to decorate his car. Meanwhile, right before Rob's meeting, he opened his binder to have confetti explode all over the place! I just love putting confetti in things ha ha ha poor guy had to go grab the push vacuum and clean it up. He didn't say anything about the confetti in his scriptures or his ym manuel so I'm guessing he will find those surprises next week.. it's the gift that keeps on giving hee hee
So, here is the truck all decorated... my plan worked! Rob got TONS of birthday wishes and some heckling by his buddies
I love this sign with Boston's hand and foot prints all over it!
My accomplice. He was such a good boy while I decorated Rob's truck!
These are from a few days before when me and Boston painted Daddy's cards and signs
Ya, he tried to eat the paint. Thank goodness it's non-toxic!
He looks like he's wearing lipstick!
He wouldn't stop trying to eat the paint so I called it quits after this one and it was straight into the bath!
Here are the little guys paintings. We'll have to finger paint more often! He loved it!
Back to yesterday, I had called the teachers during the week and they all ended their lessons 10 minutes early so we could meet in the kitchen and sing Happy Birthday to Rob and eat cake! He was so cute.. he turned red as all the ym and yw were singing to him :)
We ended our day with a yummy dinner and then got out our chocolate fountain for chocolate dipped strawberries!
The fun really started when we got out the whipped cream! Oh man! We both had the WORST tummy aches after!!
This is Rob's last strawberry... dipped in chocolate, whip creamed, dipped again in chocolate, whip creamed again, and a 3rd coat of chocolate. I can't believe he really ate it!
So, happy birthday sweetie! I hope that it was a great day :)
And thank you for my valentine's present that I woke up to find waiting for me :) Roses, Peanut m &m's{my fave!}, 5 skor bars{my other fave!} since we are almost at our 5 year anniversary, and the Notebook- the movie we saw on our first date! :)
I guess I'll embarrass you one more time Rob.. As I said before, our first date was the Notebook and it is a tear jerker! Well, my tender guy of course started to tear up but being the macho man tried to play it off and secretly wipe away the tears. I totally saw it though! I thought it was pretty cute :)

time out
Yep, Boston had his first time-out the other day! I doubt there will be anymore anytime soon, but I really needed a few minutes to re-coup.
To start, he was having "one of those days". Then, mid-morning he ripped a bunch of pages out of Rob's scriptures in a matter of seconds. When I picked him up and said, "No, no Boston we don't rip our scriptures." what did my sweet boy do? Hit me in the face!!! Honestly I don't think he meant to hit me. He does this cute thing where he shakes a finger at me whenever I tell him no {seriously have NO idea where that came from!! We have never done it!} and I think he was just shaking his hand really quick and my face was lucky enough to be right there. Either way I needed a few Boston-free minutes!!!
So I told him he was going to time-out in his crib and as we walked across the house together, he laid his head on my shoulder and tried to give me cuddles. What a smart kid! He was totally trying to get out of time-out! It didn't work. I still put him down. His time-out only lasted 60 seconds or so...long enough for me to go get a drink of water in the kitchen... and he really enjoyed it cuz I didn't think to take his binkies and blanket out of the crib. Next time I'll know better :)
