A day with Marlee

Yesterday started with an 8 am phone call from my friend, Shannon, asking if we could watch her little girl so she could take her hubby to the ER. They thought he had appendicitis.. turns out they were right! He had surgery yesterday afternoon and is doing well :)

So we got to play with Marlee all day until Shannon's parents got here around 5:30 to take Marlee. We had a BLAST! Marlee and Boston are the best of buds! They haven't seen each other forever because one of us has either been sick or out of town for the past few months so they were so happy to be together again

Mid-morning I busted out the Gymboree bubbles. I LOVE Gymboree bubbles!!!! They're so much fun! It was too hot to go outside so we did them inside and I'm still finding bubbles all over ha ha

I must say I am awesome at bubbles! Look at how many I got goin!!

M got a bunch stuck in her hair.. too cute!

Boston wanted some stuck to his head too so kept sticking his head into the bubbles.. sorry kid, you don't have any hair for them to stick to

Best Buds!

Nap time was heavenly! Let me tell ya, two kids by myself is a lot busier than I thought! Just diaper changes alone kept me going.. Boston will be potty trained before baby #2 gets here that's for sure :) {and no, I'm not pregnant}

After naps we watched a little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Look at these two precious babies! Shannon and I always joke around about Marlee's hair and that it's taken a long time to fill in. Well, it looks ultra luscious next to Boston's current look! :)

Once the sun went down a bit and our backyard was shaded we headed out back to swim.

I can't seem to download a video of the kiddies on the tramp... It's pretty cute! Hopefully I can get it to work later. Anyways, it was a fun day! We're glad Darin's ok and happy we could help with Marlee :)
